A video from President Steve Ericson

As we near the end, the 2025-26 Destin Snowbird season will be remembered with fond memories of good times and good friends. Under the leadership of President Steve, the Board did an outstanding job of planning and executing a season that will be remembered by all of us . . . the Destin Christmas Parade, the Harbor Boat Parade, our Annual Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony, our first meeting on December 16 with the Emerald Coast Community Band, Big Registration, our first TGIT with Flash Flood Duo, the Past President’s dinner, entertainment by Diki Ross, TGIT with Todd Herendeen, the Harbor Cruise, entertainment by Hashtag Swing, TGIT with Michael Bethea, the Ladies Luncheon, entertainment by the Northwest Florida Voices, the Valentine’s Day Dance, the annual Volunteer Luncheon, TGIT with Bobby D entertaining, the Craft Show, Casino trips, etc. And, it’s not over yet.
Our Annual Meeting is February 24 at the Destin Community Center at 10 am. where we’ll be electing officers for the coming year. Our entertainment will be Tareva and Fly. Of course, we’ll have our raffle and lots of door prizes to give away!
We still have room in our storage until where you can store boxes of goodies, bikes, golf clubs and bags, chairs, etc., or whatever you can’t fit in your car to take home (see Linda Z).
Thanks to all of our volunteers who supported our events and activities this year . . . you are awesome! Remember, if you are interested in helping out next year, talk with Dean Harper or any Board member, and we’ll get you signed up.
It’s been a special season for all of us. As we look back on the good times, our reconnecting with old friends and making new friends, we leave with warm thoughts of our time well spent. Do continue to check out our website (thedestinsnowbirds.com) and our Destin Snowbirds Facebook page. SAFE TRAVELS EVERYONE.
